Your next assignment.

03 / BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

A little preparation.
A smoother signing.

01

Tell us what you need.

Identify the document type, number of signers, preferred date, location, and whether witnesses or an online session are requested.

02

Bring acceptable identification.

Have identification acceptable under Florida law ready. Ask in advance if your ID is expired or if you need to discuss another permitted identification method.

03

Have the complete document.

Bring every page and complete the required information. For documents requiring signing under oath, wait to sign until the notary instructs you.

04

Confirm every participant.

Each required signer must appear and act willingly. Confirm witnesses with your attorney or receiving party; do not assume the notary can serve as a separate witness.

For online appointments

Have a stable internet connection, camera, microphone, and the identification required by the selected platform. Use a private, well-lit space. Confirm that the receiving party accepts electronic notarization before booking.

04 / FEES & AVAILABILITY

06 / YOUR QUESTIONS

Before you book.

Helpful answers to common notary appointment questions.

Can you tell me which notarization my document needs?

The document’s author, your attorney, or the receiving party should tell you which notarial act is required. A notary cannot choose a legal certificate for you or provide legal advice.

Do all signers have to attend?

Every person whose signature is being notarized must personally appear in the required manner—at the in-person appointment or through the compliant online platform—and meet the applicable requirements.

Can you notarize an already signed document?

It depends on the notarial act. An acknowledgment may concern a signature made earlier, but an oath-based signing has different requirements. Contact the office before your appointment and follow the notary’s instructions.

Can a family member arrange a care-facility appointment?

Yes, you may inquire on a signer’s behalf. The signer must be able to participate willingly and meet the applicable requirements. Confirm facility access and any document or witness requirements in advance.

Is every document eligible for online notarization?

No. Eligibility depends on the document, governing requirements, receiving party, signer circumstances, and platform. Ask before booking, particularly for estate documents or transactions with special witness rules.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Contact Tanglera as soon as possible so the appointment can be adjusted. Any travel or cancellation terms will be disclosed when your appointment is confirmed.

Does notarization make my document legally valid?

Notarization verifies the specified notarial act; it does not establish that the document’s contents are correct, enforceable, or appropriate for your situation. Consult your attorney for legal questions.

Is this website an online notarization platform?

This website helps you learn about services and request an appointment. An online notarization takes place separately on a confirmed RON platform, after the necessary eligibility and identity checks.
